PDC Poker "formerly Poker.com" was established in 2005 in Bribane Australia. Since the re-launch as PDC they are seeing some significant traffic increase but they are still on the lowwer end of the industry as far as traffic goes showing only 4,000 tournament and under 1,000 ring game players at peak hours in December 2009.
PDC Poker offers many variations of poker including Texas Holdem, Omaha and Seven Card Stud in all versions but has yet to add any mixed or lowball games. Ring game play is very soft but the tournament play is not so much and is aimed mostly at low stakes players with buy ins as little as $1.00, high stakes play is almost non existant even at peak hours.
PDC Poker's promotions include a frequent player program where you earn VIP points for playing raked hands at ring games or buy in fees for tournaments and you can use these points to buy into restricted freerolls when you reach different VIP statuses depending on how often you play. They also offer $50 freerolls open to everyone at least every four hours, weekly freerolls worth $2,000-$10,000 and a monthly freeroll for $50,000. They also offer a royal flush bonus worth 100 times the big blind up to $1000 just for hitting a royal flush.
The software offers some very innovative features and is very functional. One special feature that PDC has recently added called the "Rabbit Cam" lets you show one or more of your cards to your opponents wether you win or lose to give that pschlogical edge previously only offered in live poker.
Overall PDC offers a great player experience and the only thing I could find that they are lacking is the very low traffic in the high stakes depatment.
